Besides enhancing the social resilience of military spouses through communication, connectedness and social support, the Andrews Spouses' Club also serves a higher purpose by raising money through the base Thrift Shop to give away to numerous charities and for annual scholarships. These charitable activities directly impact Joint Base Andrews and its families, the surrounding community and some national charities. Please click on a button below for a list of our most recent charitable distributions.

ASC Thrift Shop

Our Thrift Shop is a registered non-profit that has been operating on Joint Base Andrews for over 50 years. We have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in philanthropic funds that directly benefit our military community and people. We also put over $100,000 back in to the community in consignment pay offs each year. We invite you to come check us out. Consign, Shop or Volunteer!!            1676 Brookley, Ave, JBA

Other Charitable Giving

Every year the ASC gives generously to many, many base organizations, National and local charities. In the past we have given to the Fisher House, Wounder Warriors, Air Force Aid Society, Chief's Group Half Marathon (pictured above), Imagine Andrews Charter School, JBA Youth Services, JBA Integrated Delivery System Couple's Conference, 11th Wing Annual Awards, and numerous other awesome organizations working hard to serve our military community.

ASC Sholarships

Each year the Andrews Spouses' Club gives tens of thousands of dollars to deserving military spouses and children in the form of college scholarships. The Scholarship Committee works hard to screen eligible candidates and choose talented spouses and children for these awards. This year, the Scholarship Awards Reception will conclude our year's events in May with a Luau-style event in tribute to Island Heritage month.

Our Thrift Shop is run by 7 paid employees and 45 AWESOME volunteers who work thousands of hours to raise the funds that we give away. They work hard to take your consignments and donations and have fun doing it. They are like a family who work, joke and eat together, and take care of one another. Come join the amazing team who raise the money. You don't have to be a member of the ASC to volunteer, but you do have to be a miltiary ID card holder.
